Secret model Kelly Gale reveals just how critical the industry can be

Victoria's Secret model Kelly Gale.

She graced the Victoria's Secret catwalk for the fourth time this week.

Kelly Gale revealed to The Daily Telegraph's Confidential on Friday just how critical the modelling industry can be.
Despite being confident in her own skin, the 22-year-old told the publication that she's been labelled 'too fat' by industry critics.

'I hear these things constantly, I'm too skinny, too fat, too tall, too short,' Kelly told Confidential while at Swarovski's Brilliance For All collection launch in Sydney.
'I am confident in my own skin. There are people in the industry who will tell me I'm too skinny or too fat and that is fine, I won't work with them and I'm fine with that.

The Swedish-born star insisted that she doesn't let negative comments about her figure get to her.
'Anything that will get to me is never about looks on the outside. It would be someone saying something hurtful about my personality because I don't really care too much about what people say about my looks,' Kelly went on to say.

The candid comments come just days after Kelly stunned at the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai, China.
Taking to the runway alongside the likes of Bella Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima, the brunette beauty flaunted her model figure in a flirty ensemble.

A black lace bra with key-hole detailing, drew attention to her ample cleavage and washboard stomach, while a thigh-skimming blue and white camisole accentuated her very trim pins.
Coordinating ankle boots and a statement floral wings worked as accessories.

Kelly spoke to Australian Vogue about her diet ahead of the iconic runway show, revealing that she cuts out sugar and salt for a month before the show.
'Four weeks before the show I like to kick it in high gear. Which for me means cutting out sodium,' she revealed.

'I try to stay away from all kinds of sugars except for the sugars I get from the berries in my breakfast and coconut sugar from the occasional raw vegan chocolate bar that I eat.'

'My lunch and dinner meals before the show include lots of vegetables and lean protein such as shrimps, scallops, egg whites, turkey breast and white fish.'
